Little Red Car

Little Red Car

The car is Pulled From the Water!  Local News Chopper surround the area.  A lady sitting casually watching the news.  Just like she always does at 5:30pm in the evening.  She rejoices for no rain in the forecast.  Happy she can wear her new shoes she just purchased.  Excited, leaves the room to find some thing to match.  While she search it was annouced a red compact car was pulled out of the water, but there was no driver. Breaking news revealed that a body was found in the trunk. The lady comes back in and sits down to see what the commotion was.  She leans in close to the tv with an investigative look on her face as though she recognized the car.  She grabs her cell phone. The phone rings and there is no answer so she leaves a message.  Call me Girl this look like it's your car that they found on the news.  Not realizing that a body was report found in this vehicle.

Why Didn't you Say Something!

The In Law From Hell Syndrome
Part One
That's my son and he's gonna always be my son. Even when you are long gone!
He says Nothing!
How you gone let him just live off you, he needs to get a job and pull his weight!
She says nothing!
My daughter is too good for you, while grabbing the grand kids in an embrace.
She says Nothing!
You Could have done better!
He says nothing, but That's my mom ma!
I can't believe you married that sorry so and so!
You should have been with the one I chose for you!
This marriage is not going to last!  Mark my words!
This is my son's house, you don't work...It's his money!  You just live here.  I can come by when ever I want too.

Wow, and the list goes on and on.  Why didn't you say something.  This is very unhealthy and brings some of the strongest relationships to a screeching halt.  In laws using their relationship with you to manipulate and destroy something that they secreting wish they had.  This has been a problem that has plagued marriages since the beginning of time.  It is not limited to race or religion or anything else for that matter.  It's all rooted in unforgiveness, jealousy, spite or whatever traumatic event took place. How did it get this far!  Why didn't I see this coming? I thought they liked me?  Huh lets see....

The Set Up!
When you were first introduce everyone sang your praises and was happy to see you coming.  You attended family gatherings.  No one considering you a permanent fixture. At this point you are someone they are just dating.  They brag on all your good qualities to other relatives to evoke jealousy. Neither you are the person that turn into your personal night mare ever saw it coming.  Why is this?  Why did we not see that this particular in law was going to be your primary source of negativity.  You were not careful so you befriended this person told them just enough about you, to be too much for anyone else to know.

The Engagement comes and the silent madness begins.....little giggles when you give an opinion or enter the room. Little subtle brush offs that let you know that you are really not being taken seriously.  Then you begin to think to yourself, "did that really just happen!

Your spouse shrugs it off with the words, "Oh that's just how my ---- is.  They didn't mean nothing by it."

A healthy relationship, what defines a healthy Relationship?  Some say it's two whole people loving and respecting the fact that you are who you are.
  What do you say!
